What is Lectio Divina?
Lectio Divina means divine reading. It is a way to connect with God as we read the scriptures and discover in them what He wants for us to learn and how He wants for us to apply His word to our lives.
My life is busy! How long will I spend on this each day?
It will take about 10 minutes each day to read and reflect on the daily Gospel readings. You can take longer if you like, but that is up to you.
Will I actually use this?
Again, that is up to you. We have all purchased something and then never used it! Set an alarm on your phone or read the day's Gospel first thing in the morning so you don't forget.
When you make this part of your daily life for Lent, you will actually use it.
